So when you’re out shooting, you can be on the lookout for those quieter scenes worthy of interest. Quieter scenes where there really isn’t a decisive moment to be had. Still, they can provide an interesting street photograph. Again, easier for the new street photographer to ease into. In fact, the new photographer can “work his way up.” He can begin shooting cityscapes absent people. Next, he can “graduate” to cityscapes in which people are but an incidental element. Then, he can begin to work his way closer and closer – until one, two or a few people are the main subject of his photographs. And consider this too – shooting those quieter shots is a great way to become comfortable using a new camera.
